🎶“It’s late in the evening; she’s wondering what clothes to wear.”🎶 The opening line of a famous song describes a woman choosing an outfit, yet it draws the listener in. Plenty of us can picture the scene, because we’ve lived it. Decisions: they can make or break us. Something tells me the lady in Clapton’s tune makes a fashionable choice. I see her, beautiful and statuesque, picking the perfect cocktail dress. Color doesn’t matter; it’s the man she keeps waiting who’d better realize how much she does. At least this is what’s going through her mind, late in the evening.
Kind reader, this is a Drabble, a short fictional story of exactly 100 words. Thank you for reading. 🙏❤️ prayers and love.
