Of the once lush growth, only a few green leaves remain—and maybe one folded flower. So, it was quite a surprise to look out the window, on the fourth day of November, and see a lone butterfly flitting around our honeysuckle,

The unruly crape myrtle still has plenty of leaves, but the small, lily-white flowers, smiling from the middle of the shrub, aren’t supposed to be there, either.

Do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised.

Sometimes miracles happen in plain sight. A butterfly and flowers—in the middle of autumn—remind us that God sustains life, no matter the season.
Faith never works as easily as when our natural prospects fail.
