How do you know when it’s time to unplug? What do you do to make it happen?

The pivotal moment

I know it’s time to unplug when the breakfast toast is done and I’d better put the toaster away—without leaving crumbs on the counter—or my wife will let me have it.

    My wife has an uncanny ability to notice the tiniest things that don’t belong, particularly in her kitchen.
