During a break at a leadership conference, I took a walk inside an attached gymnasium. It was dark, but there was ample sunlight coming in from some high windows. Walking the perimeter of the basketball court, I noticed a row of lights overhead. As I passed under an individual fixture, it turned on. It was motion activated! I kept walking and every bank above my head lit up as I went.
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalm 119:105 (NIV)
Kind reader, my walk in the gym, reminded me of walking in faith with the Lord–step by step, as He lights the path ahead. Remembering, as the Psalm says above, God’s word provides the illumination.
I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. Psalm 119:11 (NIV)
Thank you for reading. 🙏❤️ Prayers and love.
